Jameson & Son is a small family business situated in the beautiful county of Devon, England. Our company description has evolved over many years but it remains the same, 'general merchants'. We have, for over 30 years, bought and sold a wide variety of goods and material to and from faraway places. Dealing in original marine antiques & artefacts began as just a personal interest, and over the last 10 yrs, has developed into our main business, speciality and our passion.

Trinity Marine is the name of our shop, established in 1996. Before the shop we operated solely from our main warehouses which are approx. 30 minutes drive away, up the valley of the River Teign. Click here for a virtual tour of our warehouses.

In the early years trade customers found it to be in their best interest to keep us a secret and together with the fact that we didn't have a shop in a big city, meant that we were not very widely known. Now though, with a combination of the internet and the blood and sweat of our Web-Site designer Matt, we can offer shop-owners & businesses, collectors & boat-owners, all around the World, the items that we have for sale.

Over the years we have been successful through hard economical times and fluctuating currencies because of our resourcefulness in finding products and commodities to buy and sell. Our success in conducting business in some of the most difficult environments around the world is due to the fact that we do it respectfully and honestly, looking after long term interests and therefore providing profit for our suppliers, specialist contractors and our trade customers alike, because, at the end of the day without them we cannot do business and make profit ourselves.

Our prices are, what we consider, fair prices reflecting the value of the item. We work out the price of our goods depending on the age, condition and scarcity of the item and include a moderate profit for ourselves. Our aim is to sell good volumes of material for a little bit of profit which means our prices are among the most competitive in the World. As I see it he best result of the internet is that the customer can compare prices, making it increasingly difficult to ask exaggerated prices. Everything in our Shop and our Showroom has a price on it because we are not afraid to show it.

All the marine artefacts in our nautical antiques shop are well presented complete with images, a report on condition and most importantly, the price. We have endeavoured to create a safe, simple and informative, as well as fascinating, experience for you. So please proceed and revel in the crafts man ship & ingenuity of yesteryear and help us celebrate all that is marine & maritime. If you cannot find what you are looking for amongst our websites please contact us, we have so much material it is impossible to add it all.

I hope you enjoy our 'flotilla' of websites, any feedback or constructive criticism is greatly appreciated as we aim to make this website as interesting for you as possible - click here to leave an email for the boss!
