Exceptional piece of military hardware. Stunning, polished pair of Zeiss RWMK 10 x 50 binoculars, on original tri-pod stand, by the ultimate makers of optical instruments, Carl Zeiss.
Everything on this piece of kit is fully adjustable and can be customised for any view or viewer, optically magnificent.
Carl Zeiss RWDF 10x50 (direction-wise doppelfernrohr 10x50). Single eyepiece attitude. The two eyepieces are to Ca.460mm under the view. At the top of the unit is a swingable sun visor against scattered light. Since no tank is present, the RWDF 10x50 with the RWMK (direction wise becomes Horizontal measuring circle) on a very sturdy stand with a M16 screw developed. Inserted spirit level spirit levels permit an exact adjustment in the balance by means of micrometer screws. Also the cyclic testing is steered with micrometer screws very accurately with a lever to release, allowing quick 360° swing. The characteristic with the RWDF is, one can with a set screw, with retention eyepiece view, the view lenses approx.. 60° upward and approx.. 20° after down, thus can be adjusted to see objects in the sky or at ground level. A lattice cross with numbers in the left eyepiece. Between the eyepieces is a small lever, with which one can connect a grey filter. Absolutely vibrationless observing with a unique resolving power and sharpness, Zeiss quality! We sent the binoculars to our proffesional polishers and the results are magnificent. The entire optical system is clear and clean, no scratches or turbidity, everything in stunning condition.The RWDF 10x50 with the RWMK weighs together ca.20 kg.
