Just recently we bought a large quantity of second-hand glass floats complete with a few small barnacles here and there and the original netting which is hand tied in jute rope.
These authentic glass floats are known as binary floats. A binary float is created when the manufacturer blows 2 glass balls and then fuses them with a separate bead of hot glass. one!
