Chadburns and Crosbie Revolution Telegraph

When it came to marine instrumentation of the 20th century Crosbie was regarded by many to be the very best… judging by the weight, feel & the strong clunky mechanism I agree.
This is a Chadburns pattern of Revolution Telegraph made under license by Crosbie & Son
Montreal branch for the Canadian Navy
In perfect working order, turning the heavy bronze wheel is a free and easy clunking action punctuated with a loud and clear strike of a bell housed inside. A very nice tone, if you want to hear it give us a call
This very impressive revolution telegraph was amongst a large amount of artefacts that had been recovered from Canadian Warships and we have this on record as being from a Destroyer of the Canadian Navy called HMS Restigouche
