A rare and superb stick barometer made by William Grayson Henley on Thames
The ivory register plate with sliding vernier controlled by an ivory turned knob
Above is the barometer weather scale , and below is marked Fever Heat, Blood Heat, Summer Heat, Tempe Rate and Freezing
William Grayson was a clock maker from 1790, and worked latterly with a son of the same name, in Henley until 1860
Very hard to find these barometers and especially in such good condition
