Ex Royal Navy MFV Yarmouth Navigator Ships Wheel
The teak and brass wheel from the Royal Navy’s MFV Yarmouth Navigator.

MFV Yarmouth Navigator was commissioned on 4th January 1944 and assigned to Force S for the Normandy Landings.
In 2011 the MFV Yarmouth Navigator sadly sank whilst being moved from its moorings. She was one of the 5,000 vessels that took part in the Normandy landings and one of only 7 surviving vessels at the time of her loss.
The wheel has a central brass hub, with block and turned spars and an overpainted aluminium bezel.
It has been left in original condition with the paint work a little flakey
