Circa 1940s this knife is in near perfect condition
Bought from a private collector who gave us the following provenance
This knife was first obtained from a member of the US armed forces in 1952 in exchange for a Siebe Gorman knife by his cousin , the late Artificer Diver William Honeyfield
It was gifted to the collector at the start of his diving career in 1960
The serrated blade has no makers marking but the solid brass sheath has Morse Diving Equipment Co. Inc. Boston . Mass. USA
The handle is maple wood and the blade stainless steel
Original leather strap and buckle
Total length: 13.50in
Diving collectables can be better than money in the bank , increasingly harder to find original good pieces, these maintain a steady rate of increasing value
