HMS Achilles a warrior-class armoured cruiser – 1905

Built by Armstrong Whitworth, Elswick

She served with the 2nd Cruiser Squadron for most of the First World War. The ship did not participate in the Battle of Jutland in 1916, but did sink the German raider Leopard in 1917.

HMS Achilles became a training ship in 1918 and was sold for scrap in 1921.
