HMS Carron was a Royal Navy C-class destroyer 1942
Built by Scotts of Greenock
In 1944 HMS Carron joined the Home Fleet. After the war , she went into reserve and in 1955 had finished being modernised at Chatham, and was sent for service with the Dartmouth Training Squadron
In 1961 she carried out Foul Weather trials in the Atlantic including the use of new Life Raft and survival suits
