Home Office 1950s Enamel Medical Sterilizer Tray – Box Fresh

Birmingham made 1950s James Fellows, Enamelled Holloware, Pool Street Stamping Works.

These sterilizer trays were ordered by the Home Office in the 1950s. They were originally ordered after WWII in preparation for WWIII. Sold off in later years.

Thankfully they were never used and are now available to be used as bread bins , fish poacher , steamers or for sterilising medical kit – for those re-enactment enthusiast.

For 60 years these have been sat in their boxes .. great condition as they were never used , however there are some blemishes on some but like any vintage enamel it does not deter from the aesthetics or charm of these lidded trays.
