P.N.S Jahangir Ships Bell 1958 – Formerly HMS Crispin
HMS Crispin was a Royal Navy C-class destroyer
Built by J. Samuel White, Cowes between 1944 and 1946
HMS Crispin was sold to the Pakistan Navy on 29 February 1956 and renamed Jahangir.
Before being transferred she was given a refit by Thornycroft at Woolston. She was formally handed over to the Pakistan Navy at Southampton on 18 March 1958. The refit and transfer was made under a US contract and transferred to the Pakistan Navy as part of the Military Assistance Program.
Pakistan made an exact copy of the original HMS Crispin bell adorning the vessels new name, P.N.S Jahangir.
She saw action in 1965 when she was in when here and a number of other ship were order to carryout bombardment of Dwarka about midnight.
Complete with clanger , broad arrow on the back of the bell.
