A good pair of original condition Kriegsmarine 7×50 U Boat binoculars with the code letters blc, these were manufactured by Carl Zeiss during WW2.

This pair would of been used by a U Boat by a Naval Officer, they retain excellent blooming to the object glasses and to the eye pieces.

Importantly the rubber armouring is in very decent condition, underneath which you find the makers stamp 57507 BLC & 7×50, as you would expect (didn’t want to remove completely for the photography), the neck strap is still attached.

The original grey/green paintwork shows signs of extensive use which for us only adds to the overall patina, they have seen much active service!

It would be fairly easy to have these binoculars stripped and painted but the charm for me is the fact that whilst they do show signs of wear it is only cosmetic and remain optically superb.
