Royal Navy Jackstaff crown as fitted to the top of the jackstaff of every ship.
The jackstaff is fitted in the extreme bow of the ship, and from it is flown the Union Jack when the ship is in territorial waters or in harbour.
The naval crown or coronet has been used as a badge for hundreds of years and on the jackstaffs since at least Victorian times. These crowns come in different sizes depending on the size of the ship.
With holes around the base for mounting.
