This is a high quality brass remake of a beautiful coat-hook that was once on the back of the cabin doors of SS Medina

She later became HMS Medina when she was used by King George V and Queen Mary on the State visit to India in 1911

The P&O ocean liner was specially fitted out to serve as the royal yacht for the tour

We managed to buy some of the furniture used by the Queen and a few cabin fittings, all the original coat hooks sold quickly and it was an obvious choice to make these identical replicas
