M101 was a German navy M Class minesweeper, built by Rickmers
Yard number 229, launched in 1941
She suffered a collision on 25 Nov 1942
The M class were the standard minesweeper of Germany’s Kriegsmarine during World War 2
The vessels were the primary force in Germany’s harbour defence command and were organised administratively into minesweeper flotillas
This wheel comes with a Trinity Marine Certificate of Authenticity
