An original metal trunk that has been hand painted depicting the topsail schooner H.H Cole built in 1843
The H.H Cole was built in Baltimore and sailed out of Salem.
The metal trunk has carry handles either side. A hand painted picture of the schooner on the lid and sign written name and date on the front.
We are very happy to have this artist and furniture restorer back on board , more hand painted pieces of his work are going to hit the site over the next few days
