HMS Sluys Gun Tompion – 1945

Original HMS Sluys was a Royal Navy Battle class Destroyer

She was built by Cammell Laird, Birkenhead

Bronze painted gun tampion

HMS Sluys joined the 1st Destroyer Flotilla. In 1947 she escorted the aircraft carrier HMS Vengeance, which was flying the flag of the First Sea Lord to Norway

She was sold to Iran in 1967 after a major rebuild
