HMS Vigo was a Royal Navy Battle Class Destroyer
She was built by Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering Co
HMS Vigo was launched in September 1945, commissioned in 1946
In the 1950’s she became a Gunnery training ship based at Portsmouth and was a patrol ship in Icelandic Waters during the Cod War
Following decommissioning in 1959, she was finally scrapped in 1964 at Faslane
