Huge US Navy Bronze Porthole Mirror – 28in

A large, special & elegant piece of statement decor.

One of several gorgeous gun-metal bronze portholes from a 1950’s American merchant naval vessel scrapped last year that we have reclaimed, refurbished & re-purposed.

Framed in reclaimed Burmese teak from the same ship with bronze fixings.

American ship-builders always prefer the highest grade of copper alloy, gun-metal bronze for their fittings and fixtures which is what gives these that special gold glow rather than the yellow of brass.

When these have gone, they are long gone. Ships of this pedigree and age are nigh on extinct.
