Rare 1950s SS Stratheden Menus by Strom Gould

Superb collection of P&O ocean liner dinner menus designed and painted by Strom Gould.

Each one depicts native birds to Australia with information about the birds on the back.

Beautiful collection , not quite the full set of 12 that were originally designed, there is one duplicate in the 10.

Very collectable , would look superb framed.

SS Stratheden was a steam turbine ocean liner. She spent most of her career with the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company , including the Second World War where she was a troop ship for 6 years.

Her voyage scheduled route was between Tilbury , England and Brisbane , Australia with several ports in between.
