Giant Ships Searchlight ex MV Jean Mermoz

A gorgeous giant heavy ships searchlight, from a classic liner, that we salvaged many years ago and that has been in our stores ever since.

The MV Jean Mermoz was a French ocean liner and later cruise ship. She was the last of the colonial-era French-owned classic liners to sail exclusively under the French flag and used to do the Marseille to West Africa run.

Painstakingly removed, reclaimed and now fully refurbished.

Brass body with all brass fittings pedestal, mounted on reclaimed Burmese teak plinth with brass fittings.

Adjustable on both horizontal and vertical  axis as you’d expect.

Concave parabolic mirror.

Brass fins that dissipate heat, important if you choose to revert back to 1000w bulb!

A few cosmetic bumps but it all adds to the character.

Upgraded CE certified fitting. Easy access if you wanted to change the bulb or upgrade to colour changing led.
