HMS Canterbury was a C Class light cruiser 1915, built by John Brown & Company, Clydebank, Scotland

She saw service in the First World War and the Russian Civil War.

HMS Canterbury was attached to the 3rd Battle Squadron in the Grand Fleet, and participated in the Battle of Jutland, assigned to the 5th Light Cruiser Squadron, operating as part of Harwich Force in the North Sea to defend the eastern approaches to the Strait of Dover and English Channel

Unofficial badge design, as the badge pre dates the standardisation of all Royal Navy badges that came into effect in 1919.
