HMS Cromer was a Royal Navy Sandown Class minehunter

Heavy Chromed Brass lettering on sturdy teak board

This piece was a part of a large quantity of original Royal Navy insignia that we recently bought from a Government sale of Royal Navy artefacts

Some of the items still have the red MOD ‘Dispose’ stickers on them

HMS Cromer visited Dundee on November 6th-9th 1998 for a Dundee navy day and Armistice Day commemorations

She was decommissioned in 2001 before being refitted for use as a training ship at the Britannia Royal Naval College at Dartmouth
