Bronze Anchor

A very rare 520kg AC-14 anchor from a Royal Navy Hunt Class Minesweeper, this unique piece is made entirely of bronze due to the anti-magnetic requirements of minesweeper ships.

All fixtures and tools, from hammers to anchors, were crafted from non-magnetic materials like bronze, wood, or plastic. With bronze's high scrap value, such items are extremely rare, this anchor would be worth approximately £3,000 in scrap alone.

After mechanically stripping thick layers of Royal Navy-grade paint, the anchor was meticulously polished, revealing a striking golden finish.

This stunning piece is not only a historic artifact but also a breath-taking, eye-catching centrepiece.
