A stunning mounted Buoy Beacon from Trinity House

The Corporation of Trinity House is the General Lighthouse Authority for England and Wales, with responsibility for nearly 600 Aids to Navigation from traditional features such as lighthouses, buoys and beacons to the latest satellite navigation technology.

This style of beacon is known as an AGA 200, they were decommissioned in the 70s. They were usually mounted on a buoy at sea. The figure 200 refers to the mm diameter of the glass Fresnel lens inside. 200’s like this stand 3ft or 1 metre tall.
