An Admiralty pattern 'three-circle' sextant the black-crackle finish frame with arc signed Hayes Brothers, Barry Docks, silvered scale, adjustable telescope mounting socket, seven shades, the index arm -- 6¼in. (15.8cm.) radius, vernier, magnifier, tangent screw adjustment and clamp, hardwood handle. Circa 1940’s.
