An icon of Royal Navy lighting, and one of my personal favourite marine lights. Designed for ‘battle conditions’ in terms of their sturdy build quality, and also that they wash the deck with light whilst not emitting glare horizontally out to sea. In domestic terms this leads to a very elegant and interesting wall light that illuminates your path, stairs or wall with no glare.

Ships that were adorned with these have all gone now sadly, like HMS Hermes. So we commissioned these exact remakes to be made in short runs by a reputable lighting manufacturer, with no compromise or expense spared. Cast in thick heavy brass and highly polished, they are supplied non-lacquered which will lead to the shine dulling slowly indoors. The light comes supplier with a CE certified E27 bulb holder.
