A very rare and collectable bronze screen badge. HMS Harrier was a Halcyon-class minesweeper launched in 1934, sold in 1950. Built by Messrs Thornycroft at Woolston, Southampton. Early 1940, HMS Harrier was allocated to 6th Minesweeping Flotilla in the Dover Command.
In 1941 HMS Harrier was re‑deployed to Scapa Flow, but in the following month she was again transferred, this time to the Western Approaches Command, for ocean escort duties.
