Royal Navy Mess Bowls. New old stock, from ships stores in the early 2000s. HMS Lancaster is a Duke-class Type 23 frigate of the Royal Navy, launched by Queen Elizabeth II May 1990. Not as charming as the old blue badge or even earlier mess plates granted, but still an evocative keepsake and friendly gift for a matelot to have his porridge in.
