Stunning alloy screen badge from HMS Puma. HMS Puma (F34) was a Leopard‑class (Type 41) anti‑aircraft frigate of the Royal Navy, laid down in 1953, launched in 1954 and commissioned in 1957. She took part in various commissions visiting Europe, Africa, South America and the UK.
In 1962 she assisted Tristan da Cunha after the volcanic eruption. After a refit (1963‑64) she resumed overseas deployments, including a world cruise. She was decommissioned in 1972 and scrapped in 1976.
