These completely unique push button lights were salvaged from the aircraft carrier INS Viraat, formerly HMS Hermes. HMS Hermes was handed over to the Indian Navy in 1987 and these lights were put on to replace the Royal Navy ones that were starting to get a bit tired. There was one of two of these at every bulkhead door so as you can imagine we salvaged quite a few.
We have had customers in the past that have got these going again and according to them it's quite simple. What these lack in age they make up for in the respect that they will work again and for decades to come.
