A handsome teak & brass ships pendulum style clinometer. We found these in a very small ships chandlers in Vietnam whilst looking for glass fishing floats many years ago. 

These are used in the wheelhouses and captains quarters of merchant vessels were have stopped over the last twenty years. They show the listing of a ship so that’s it’s being loaded with cargo correctly.
