Built in 1973 by Sumitomo Shipbuilding in Japan, the Ogden Fraser (IMO 7326817) was a bulk carrier measuring 170 metres. It was part of the Ogden Marine fleet, a major shipping company founded by the Abelson family.
With a deadweight of approximately 27,000 tons, it operated globally under the Liberian flag for over a decade. In 1984, it was renamed Fraser and later became the Aris under Greek ownership. After 28 years of service, the vessel was sold for demolition and arrived at the scrapyards in Alang, India, in 2001.
Bell has no clanger but has a hook.
