A charming original Orient Line coffee pot, manufactured in England by the renowned Wedgwood pottery for use aboard the company’s passenger liners. Finished in the distinctive soft avocado green associated with Orient Line tableware, it features an elegant curved body, fitted lid and the company’s anchor emblem to the side.
The underside carries the “WEDGWOOD ETRURIA – ENGLAND, ORIENT LINE” backstamp together with the Orient Line house flag. Such pieces formed part of the extensive table services used aboard Orient Line vessels during the golden age of ocean travel, making this an attractive and highly collectable piece of authentic maritime memorabilia.
