A distinctive vintage bow-fronted sideboard or serving cabinet, expertly hand-painted with a striking maritime theme. The black-painted case stands on tapered legs and features two curved side cupboards flanking a central drawer and kneehole, retaining warm polished timber interiors and brass fittings.

Its decoration is particularly appealing: The top has a painted portrait of a 19th-century sailing ship under full canvas, framed by a ropework border. Matching rope detailing surrounds the cabinet panels, while each door carries a traditional mariner’s compass rose, giving the piece the character of a gentleman’s yacht or captain’s cabin.
