1st Class ships compendium washstand - SS Amsterdam. Removed during the requisition by the Ministry of War Transport and has been in a private collection until now. Beautiful condition considering nearly 100years old. Nickel plated brass fixtures and fittings and amazingly complete with its waste tank. Amazing washbasin/cupboard/desk forAmazing Spaces.
How do they work? Your steward fills the the reservoir at the top via a spout, a wrist-operable tap, tilt the sink back to drain water into lower removable tank, call the steward. Huge in character and charm, cubby holes and cupboards for the passengers toiletries.
