These fantastic folding space-saving sinks are affectionately known as ‘submarine sink’s here at TM as that’s where we have tended to salvage them from in the past, but Beresford, who made them, also made less substantial ones like these for early train carriages. The admiralty ones are chromed or nickel plated brass and command a very high price but the train ones are aluminium and don’t have quite the same build quality and therefore much more accessible.
