Union Castle Tea & Coffee Set - RMS Windsor Castle

This handsome silver-plated tea and coffee set from RMS Windsor Castle comprises two substantial serving pots with tapering bodies, hinged and removable lids, curved spouts and insulated dark handles. Each bears the distinctive Union-Castle Line emblem, confirming its use aboard the company’s passenger services.

The undersides carry marks for noted British manufacturers Elkington Plate and Mappin & Webb, Princes Plate, together with various pattern and service numbers. Showing surface wear consistent with shipboard use, the set is an evocative survivor from the elegant dining service aboard RMS Windsor Castle.
