Used by Luftwaffe Flak Artillery ground crews for spotting and identifying enemy aircraft.
Absolutely superb optics and therefore used in many theatres of war by the German Army.
‘DKL’ being the manufacturer code used in wartime to disguise the origin of the makers from allied forces in the event of capture.
Both optics can be individually adjusted for focus and clarity. Light filters which rotate internally by command of the toggle switch to the top left are for use in different light conditions day and night and even into relatively direct sunlight.
Another toggle switch adjusts the width of the optics for optimal comfort and performance.
Professionally stripped and serviced before being hand polished and mounted on our favourite brand of vintage Swiss tripod, also completely overhauled, with the famous ‘ice-cream cone’ feet. Tripod adjustable from 130cm to 180cm.
