These Carl Zeiss 12x60 binoculars from World War II were high-quality optical instruments primarily used by German forces, particularly in anti-aircraft (Flak) artillery and naval operations. These binoculars were designed for long-range observation and targeting, offering excellent magnification and clarity. 12x magnification provides a powerful zoom for detailed viewing of distant objects, 60mm objective lenses allow for high light-gathering capability, making them effective in low-light conditions.
