Original Royal Navy Boat Badge – HMS Telemachus 1943

HMS Telemachus was a T class submarine

Built by Vickers Armstrong, Barrow

HMS Telemachus served in the Far East for much of her wartime career, arriving there to serve with the Eastern Fleet in July 1944

Her one notable action was her sinking of the Japanese submarine I-166

She survived the war and continued in service with the Navy, finally being scrapped at Charlestown on 28 August 1961
