Collection: The Ferrers-Walker Collection

From the esteemed Ferrers-Walker collection that was once on display at the National Museum of the Royal Navy in Portsmouth Dockyard. Thomas Ferrers-Walker was the greatest collector of Royal Navy artefacts that there has ever been. Having served in WW2, he followed the reduction of the tired old fleet to their graves at Thomas Ward breakers in Inverkeithing and saved as many important artefacts and insignia as he could from the scores of warships that were broken there. His collection was loaned to, and curated buy, the NMRN and when he passed away it was all put up for private sale. Trinity Marine was delighted, and privileged, to have bought the whole collection over the course of ten years.
